After just having died while saving all of humanity, Julia wakes up to a world where no vampires exist. Inexplicably, she and Nicholas are the only ones who remember the past. Julia’s wish to be a normal teen has come to pass, and like a gift, they can start their happily ever after.

That was until a new teacher showed up. To everyone else, Mr. Cruor is just a good looking guy with a voice that makes everything sound exciting, including stories of a bunch of dead guys. However, Julia knows Mr. Cruor. Stuck in his class, Julia is afraid that he’s not here to teach her history.

He’s here for something else and there’s nothing she can do about it.

I flat out did not get into this book at all. I understand the concept of it. We have a girl that saved the world from vampires in the first book but now people do not remember what had happened. Julia wants to have a normal teenage life now that there are no vampires but somehow done people remember while others don’t. There are people from her past that come back into her life. Was it for these good of the world or bad? We do not know yet. Some how it seems people have changed but did can they really change that much? Probably not. You would have to make up your own mind on this but you need to read the first book.
