Overview
Does one need four fully grown foxgloves for decorating a dinner table for six guests? Or is it six foxgloves to kill four fully grown guests?

Sophronia’s first year at Mademoiselle Geraldine’s Finishing Academy for Young Ladies of Quality has certainly been rousing! For one thing, finishing school is training her to be a spy (won’t Mumsy be surprised?). Furthermore, Sophronia got mixed up in an intrigue over a stolen device and had a cheese pie thrown at her in a most horrid display of poor manners.

Now, as she sneaks around the dirigible school, eavesdropping on the teachers’ quarters and making clandestine climbs to the ship’s boiler room, she learns that there may be more to a field trip to London than is apparent at first. A conspiracy is afoot–one with dire implications for both supernaturals and humans. Sophronia must rely on her training to discover who is behind the dangerous plot-and survive the London Season with a full dance card.

Review….
OK this one was better then the last. Sophronia is getting done with her first year and has to take a test. This test is unlike a classroom test it is to see how she is doing. But that is not all that goes on. They are heading to London for unknown reasons. Boys get to be on the school also. We get to see more of the vampires in this book also. The was a lot going on with the testing, kidnapping(or attempts), and with Sophronia in the middle of it all again. She does attract attention from guys supernatural and natural. Can’t wait to see what is next for her and her friends.

  1. I always like knowing that the sequels stand up the the originals, and sequels that improve, even better! I guess because all of that setting up the world stuff is out of the way. I’m glad we get to learn more about the supernatural stuff too.
